FitWood is a Finnish company that manufactures beautiful and durable birch plywood products for active everyday life. Their products are designed to support the well-being of the whole family with a nature-inspired design that fits every home.

Problem

FitWood's previous WooCommerce online store no longer met their growing needs. The online store suffered from performance issues, which affected both customer experience and sales. In addition, the WooCommerce platform did not offer enough tools to effectively manage B2B sales, which made it difficult to serve business customers. The online store needed an update to support FitWood's expanding business goals in both the consumer and corporate customer segments.

Achievement

When FitWood needed an update to their online store and an increase in B2B sales, we were happy to help them on their way to an even more functional digital platform. We implemented a comprehensive data migration from WooCommerce to Shopify for FitWood, which enabled an even more seamless user experience for their customers. In addition, we built a versatile B2B sales area that meets the needs of business customers and facilitates their purchasing processes.

Solution

After the implementation, the customer was very satisfied with his new online store and its possibilities. With the help of the Shopify platform, FitWood was able to offer a better user experience to its consumer customers and expand to the B2B sales side. The new platform's flexibility and ease of use were praised, and customers noticed the difference right away. FitWood was able to focus even better on what is most important to them: providing natural and sustainable products that support an active and healthy lifestyle.

    • We improved the user interface and navigation of the online store to ensure that customers can easily find and buy the products they want. This included both visual updates and technical improvements that speeded up site load times and improved the mobile experience.

  3. Building a B2B sales area:

    • We created a new, versatile B2B sales area for business customers. Designed to make it easier to place and manage larger orders, this area offers special features such as customized price lists, order customization options, and customer-specific discounts.

  4. Analytics integrations:

    • We also integrate analytics tools that enable FitWood to monitor site performance and make data-driven decisions in the future.

  5. Meta Pixel, Google Ads and Google Analytics integrations:

    • We installed Meta Pixel and Google Ads tracking codes in the online store so that FitWood can target its advertising more effectively and track conversions. With Google Analytics, FitWood can analyze website traffic and user behavior more precisely, which helps in optimizing marketing efforts and creating targeted campaigns.
