E-Store.fi – From a traditional specialty store to a modern online store

E-Store.fi is based on a company founded in 1947, which is already in the hands of the third generation. E-Store.fi is like a traditional specialty store that can now be found in the digital world. Their activities are guided by expertise, honesty and customer service – keywords they have built their business on and which their customers value.

Problem

E-Store's previous online shopping platform was outdated and its functionalities no longer met today's requirements. The limitations of online shopping hampered marketing and customer experience, and due to technical problems, the platform's upgradeability was weak. In addition, the online store lacked automation that would have made inventory management easier, and the inventory data of the brick-and-mortar store and the online store could not be synchronized.

Achievement

When E-Store.fi needed an update to its online store, we accepted the challenge with enthusiasm. We implemented a new, modern Shopify online store for them, which enables a more efficient and easy-to-use shopping experience. In addition, we transferred all important data from the old platform to the new one: customers, products and stock information were transferred seamlessly. We also built automation that updates product balances directly from the cloud, so that stock information is always up-to-date. We installed the Shopify POS cash register system, which combines online store and brick-and-mortar store inventory management, and makes the sales process smoother.
