Kure is a specialty store for Finnish design, established in 2017, located in the center of Oulu, in the Pekuri Shopping Block. Kure's selection includes clothing, accessories, and interior products from over 80 Finnish brands. Kure was born from the passion of three friends, who are enthusiastic about Finnish design, to bring Finnish design more prominently into the urban landscape.

Problem: Platform change from Shuriken to Shopify

Kure wanted to update its online store to be more modern and move away from the Shuriken platform to the opportunities offered by Shopify. At the same time, the goal was to update the appearance of the online store, improve its functionality, and integrate Shopify POS with the brick-and-mortar store.

Implementation: Data Migration and Shopify POS Integration

The project began with a comprehensive data migration, where we transferred product data, gift cards, customers, and newsletter subscribers from the old online store to the new Shopify store. We built the online store according to the customer's wishes and ensured its functionality and usability. Additionally, we installed the Shopify POS system in Kure's brick-and-mortar store and provided the staff with extensive training on how to use the system.

Solution: Functional online store and POS system

Kure was very satisfied with the outcome. The new online store meets their needs and customer expectations, and thanks to the Shopify POS system, managing the brick-and-mortar store and the online store is now more efficient than ever. The training ensured that Kure's team could seamlessly utilize the new tools in their daily operations.
